Academic
Foundation Phase (Grades R–3)
Our Foundation Phase provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where learning is meaningful, joyful, and developmentally appropriate. In Grade R, children learn through play, building social, emotional, physical, and thinking skills while developing confidence and independence. As learners progress through Grades 1 to 3, structured learning is introduced through the CAPS curriculum, supported by programmes such as Jolly Phonics. Teaching is interactive and hands-on, encouraging curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and a love of learning. Individual support ensures that all learners are challenged and guided as they prepare for the Intermediate Phase.
Intermediate Phase (Grades 4–6)
The Intermediate Phase focuses on academic growth, personal development, and increasing independence. Learners are introduced to a wider range of subjects and more formal assessment while being supported in a safe, encouraging environment. Across Grades 4 to 6, emphasis is placed on critical thinking, responsibility, collaboration, and resilience. Creativity, respect, and positive attitudes towards learning are actively promoted, helping learners build strong foundations for the Senior Phase.
Senior Phase (Grade 7)
Grade 7 marks an important leadership and transition year. With smaller class sizes and subject specialists, learners receive focused academic support as they take on greater responsibility. New subjects broaden their knowledge and develop problem-solving, technological, and entrepreneurial skills. As the senior learners of the school, Grade 7s are encouraged to lead by example, demonstrating maturity, confidence, and respect. The year prepares learners academically, socially, and emotionally for a successful transition to high school.
